Michael has handled all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases on behalf of plaintiffs, including automobile negligence, motorcycle negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice, product liability, dog bites, and sexual harassment. Michael’s product liability case against Microsoft, as well as his representation of victims of sexual harassment and abuse by physicians, has garnered him important media attention at both the local and national levels.

Michael A. Feiner is an experienced trial lawyer who was successful in changing the “rear end” law in the state of Florida in the reported decision Ortlieb v. Butts, 849 So.2d 1165 (Fla. 4th DCA 2003) when he persuaded the Fourth District Court of Appeal that a directed verdict on liability was appropriate where the defendant did not rebut the presumption of negligence of a rear driver in a rear-end collision. To that end, Michael has lectured to the Plaintiff’s bar at both the local and national levels.

Michael has gained national notoriety representing clients who have suffered from mild, moderate, and traumatic brain injuries. Michael is also a published author who wrote “How to Litigate a Brain Injury Case” published by Thompson-West for the American Trial Lawyers Association in the volume entitled, “How to Litigate Tort Cases.”

Throughout his career, Michael A. Feiner has been an active member of the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association, St. Lucie County Bar Association, and the American Associates for Justice. He is admitted to practice law before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, as well as in the state of Tennessee.
